Tuesday, June 26th, 2012

Drumroll please… ASPE-SDLC is proud to unveil our newest curriculums: Data Analysis and Business Writing! So far, 2012 has been a very busy year at ASPE. The introduction of our two new SDLC curriculums will allow students to maximize their amount of knowledge and skills to an even greater extent.

For those who do have a strategy in place, there are still inefficiencies that can prevent concrete corporate intelligence from emerging.  ASPE-SDLC’s new Data Analysis training courses will allow you to effectively manage your data and translate the information into real-world strategies that can give you a competitive edge.  The curriculum includes the following: Click to continue »

Understanding eDiscovery

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

Noon Eastern Time

We live in a litigious society, that fact is inescapable. Is your organization ready for when litigation happens? New rules governing what information is available are well in effect in the courts. The rules govern what corporate data is expected to be available, how it will be produced, in what format it needs to be in, and how long it will take. Is your organization prepared for this? Is your data ready? Is your staff ready?

Seminar Presenter: Michael McCartney is co-founder, president and chief executive officer of Digital Information Gathering & Investigative Technologies, Inc. (DIGITS) and also serves as an adjunct professor at Hilbert College teaching Network Security and Computer Forensics He has served in law enforcement for almost 20 years at both the federal and state levels.

ASPE Instructor Conference 2010

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

On January 5th and 6th we held the 2010 Instructor Conference here in Cary, NC. Between the two days of meetings and discussions we took a trip over to Chef Mario’s in Raleigh for some fun and team building.

As a group we prepared a 5 course meal that was fit for a king (not to mention feed 40 people). Menu items included:

  • Prosciutto wrapped Shrimp
  • Steakhouse Bruschetta
  • Orange Glazed Salmon
  • Mashed Potato Sweet Potato Swirl
  • Pistachio Crusted Chicken Breast
  • Berries in Pappillote
  • Chocolate Mousse

A great time and meal was had by all. The highlight of evening for me had to be the unveiling of Carrot-Henge, developed by all of us on Team 4 (see below). The event at Chef Mario’s will definitely raise the bar for future conferences. A HUGE thanks to the Chef Mario’s Staff and the ASPE Crew who put the event together.
