I was released from my job in late October. I noticed that many of the PM jobs listed on the internet preferred or required a PMP. Therefore when I was offered the opportunity of a scholarship for a PMP I jumped on it. I took the four day boot camp in Mid-December, 2009, and took the certification test at the end of January, 2010, and passed. The major change in my job search has been that I can apply online for more potential opportunities.
